- The Government is contemplating the award of a three year requirements contract for the preparation and painting of three static display aircraft at the Malmstrom AFB Museum. The potential exists for none, one, two or all three aircraft to be awarded within the three year period by individual task orders. The contract for this requirement will be considered complete when either the three years have passed or all three aircraft have been awarded, whichever comes first. The aircraft to be painted under the proposed contract are the F-84 "Thunderjet", EB-57 "Canberra" and the B-25 "Mitchell". The aircraft are currently on display in an outdoor environment and all work must be accomplished on-site, there is no potential for a government provided facility. The offeror for this acquisition shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision and any other item necessary to paint the identified aircraft in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. None of the contractor's painting, cleaning or preparation materials will be stored at the Malmstrom Museum site. This acquisition is being advertised under NAICS code 332812 and any offeror must be registered under this NAICS in CCR to be considered for award. This Request for Proposal will be available on or about 4 May 2009. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://www.ccr.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA.
