- This notice is posted to meet the requirements of FAR 5.101(2). The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS), intends to enter into contract with Graduate School, U.S.D.A., to provide PBS Academy Art of Customer Service Training. Training to impart the following on participants, the extreme importance of what employees can do to foster a customer centric approach, Underscore the building blocks of resources currently available in PBS to assist with customer service tactics and communication channels – now impacted by the Office of Customer Service, Critical thinking skills in recognizing impediments and solutions for customer service responsiveness, Dovetails with emphasis on communication, professional behavior in our service approach and directly impacts customer orientation. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Far 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Small businesses are encouraged to apply. The Government will consider all responses received by 12:00 p.m. E.S.T, Friday, May 1, 2008. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquires will only be accepted by E-mail or by fax.
