- The VA Iowa City Healthcare System, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA intends to solicit for lodging (Hotel/Motel Rooms) for the TEE Tournament to our blind veterans golf outing. The VA Medical Center (VAMC), Iowa City, IA to rent approximately 200 hotel/motel room/per day, for the period of 9/7/2009 through 9/11/2009. Evaluation factors will include, but will not be limited to 1.) Size, quality of services and accommodations; 2.) Location; 3.) Experience with large disabled population; and 4.) Price, cancellation fee, attrition and refreshments. See Statement of Work for complete description of requirements and evaluation factors. Solicitation number VA-263-09-RQ-0206 for Hotel/Motel rooms and service, NAICS 721110, size standard $7.0 million will be issued on 4/20/2009. The request for quote will be available electronically for download immediately. All proposals shall be mailed to VAMC, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA 52246 (we want the original signed copy) however, interested parties may fax or email in advance, a signed copy to (319)887-4957. VAMC intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This solicitation is unrestricted; all interested, responsible parties are invited to submit a proposal (quote) for consideration. The Deadline to submit a proposal is 5/5/2009. Proposals must be received, at VAMC (90C), Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA, 52246, by 4:30pm on Tuesday May 5, 2009.
