- The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center will host a Market Research Information Session for Ceiling Lifts on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday May 5th2009 between 7a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Minneapolis VA Medical, Auditorium, One Veterans Dr. Minneapolis, MN 55417. The objectives of the Market Research Information Session are to familiarize staff with commercial ceiling lifts; and conduct market research to understand clinical features and functions commonly available in modern commercial offerings. Vendors shall bring only those product(s), accessories, and informational materials that meet (or exceed) the functional requirements of Minneapolis VA Medical Center. In addition, vendors shall be prepared to demonstrate product functions and features to clinical and technical staff attending the session. We are inviting vendors to bring in a portable gantry so that the features of the lift can be demonstrated. Vendors should also be prepared to provide examples of track systems, mounting options for retro-fitting, and motor charging options. Space is limited, vendors are required to contact us with the dimensions needed as soon as possible. We are also asking the vendors to provide us with a list of references of facilities who have the lift installed within a 100 mile radius of the Minneapolis VAMC. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This conference is a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the Market Research Information Conference attendance. The conference is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for quotes and proposals, and is not be to construed as a commitment by the Government. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in the FEDBIZOPPS. It is the potential sources responsibility to monitor the FEDBIZOPPS site for release of any solicitation or synopsis resulting from this conference.
