- Description
- The Office of Personnel Management intends to issue an award on a sole source basis that will result in a purchase order to Sterling Commerce for the annual software license renewal and maintenance agreement on the Connect: Direct software, Sterling Commerce is the sole maintenance service provider. This requirement is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541511. The size threshold for determining whether or not an offeror is a small business is a company with gross annual sales note exceeding $23.0 million. The contractor will provide software questions, computer code problems, publications, diagnostic information and program fixes concerning installation, usage, and configuration. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR SUBPART 5.2. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT. All parties interested in this procurement must submit a capability statement within 5 calendar days from the date of this notice. Submissions after that date will not be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will not be considered. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via email. Oral and facsimile requests for information will not be considered. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. A detailed capability statement must be submitted to denise.haizlip-harrod@opm.gov.
