- The scope of this contract is to furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals, except those designated as Government furnished, necessary to locate, collect, document source areas, and package native seed for transferal to the U.S. Forest Service. Seed collection shall take place on the Nez Perce and Clearwater National Forests. The Contractor will collect seed of various species from elevation zones and preferred collection sites as designated in the solicitation. The contractor shall verify species presence, seed availability and timing of ripeness for collection from proposed or other sites suitable for collection. Documentation and packaging of each collection will follow protocols in Regional native seed collection protocols of 1995. Project completion date shall be September 30, 2011. Solicitation is expected to issue in May of 2009.
