- Description
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a sole source purchase order award to Protection One for the installation and upgrade of the current security system. The reason for the sole source award is because the Air and Marine Operations Center needs to have a reliable security system in place for the security at this location. We require a vendor in the local geographical area, no more than 30 miles from the AMOC facility. For this procurement there will need to be a service agreement which will outline and detail the response for repairing and servicing the system. Protection One’s expertise has been demonstrated in their assistance to the AMOC facility during periods when the current operating system crashed. They have demonstrated their capability to respond on short notice to phone calls, request for product information, promptness in scheduled appointments, and knowledge in surveillance systems and are a nationally recognized brand. Their Riverside, California branch office already has contracts and service on the March Air Reserve Base. They are uniquely situated and qualified to satisfy the requirements on this contract.
