- Description
- The US Naval Hospital Guam intends to procure a FFP service maintenance contract for a Government owned CT Scanner located in our Radiology Department. This is a sole source action to be awarded as a new firm-fixed price contract to General Electric (GE) Healthcare, 3000 N Grandview Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188-1615. GE is the only known company who can provide the services needed to support our LightSpeed 16 CT Scanner currently in use at our Radiology Department. GE is the original manufacturer of the CT Scanner and no other entity is authorized to service the system without risk of voiding warranty arrangements already in place on the GE systems. This contract is a follow-on to contract number SPM200-02-D-8325. The placement of a FFP contract for six (6) months, commencing 21 April 2009 through 30 September 2009, is anticipated. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with GE only under authority of FAR 6.302. Reference NAICS code 423450. And reference solicitation number is N68096-09-T-0053.
