Description
Need a highly organized and experienced company for a quick turnaround event scheduled for May 30, 2009. Work is multi-disciplined and includes providing stage, lights, sound, jumbotrons, VIP tents, fencing, chairs, transportation and hotel arrangement for guest speakers, security and dynamic production designers. Event entails guest speakers with a military band. No other programming is scheduled. The Government will provide guest speakers. Event is outside in front of the Lincoln Memorial. In case of rain, event is attentively going to inside auditorium nearby. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 711320 with a small business size of $7.0 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. This procurement is open to all size businesses with a price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns. This means 10% will be added to large business prices for evaluation purposes if an offer from a HUBZone Small Business Concern is provided. The solicitation and specifications for this procurement will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about 04/20/09. This is a request for proposal solicitation. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation all interested contractors must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. To confirm if your firm is a HUBZone small business concern, go to the Small Business Administration's website at www.sba.gov and look for HUBZone category. You may check if you qualify by typing in your address into the entry, "To Determine if an Address is Located in a HUBZone." If your firm is located within a HUBZone, you must certify your company with the Small Business Administration. Your company's name must be included on the Small Business Administration's listing at the time of proposal opening to be considered as a HUBZone small business for your proposal to be evaluated under the small business HUBZone category.
