- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential bidders for REPAIR VARIOUS ITEMS ALONG FLIGHTLINE, MCAS FUTENMA. The work will be generally to provide all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, and management required to install contractor procured materials, to repair various items along flightline, MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The work includes but not limited to runway/taxiway repair, replacement of pavement marking on parking apron, various electrical works, and other incidental related work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990. Bidders can view and/or download the solicitation at https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the AsiaNECO website for any posted changes. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR ANY AMENDMENTS ISSUED TO THE SOLICITATION. This procurement is intended only for local sources in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12). Local sources are those persons or entities that normally reside and are licensed to conduct business in Japan. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation in accordance with provisions of the U. S. Japan Status of Forces Agreement.
