- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to The Isaacs Company dba Isaacs Fluid Power Equipment Company for the following requirements: 1) Two each Model MM1322.AVV8.VJXX Busch claw type blower for medical vacuum system; 2) Vendor installation assistance. This requirement is located at VAMC Dayton, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton Ohio 45428. Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open competition will be used. The anticipated award date is 4/21/09. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by 3:00 p.m. EST, 4/20/09. If no responses are received by this date, a sole source purchase order with The Isaacs Company dba Isaacs Fluid Power Equipment Company will be pursued. The POC for this notice is Lois Peed.
