- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC)-Iowa City, 601 Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, Iowa, 52246, is soliciting and intends to award a single firm fixed price contract for the services of Simultaneous Kidney/Pancreas (SKP) Transplant. The successful contractor shall provide services to include all pre-transplant services associated with the transplant, transplant procedure, and all post transplant related care and services. The contractor shall be a Medicare approved Transplant Center or a member of UNO's with adequate experience. Services must be located within 40 miles of the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 601 Hwy 6 West, Iowa City. The contract will be a firm fixed-price requirements contract for one year with two option years. Estimated five cases per year. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 22, 2009. All future information regarding the solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about June 16, 2003. This procurement is 100% full & open.
