- QUESTION: Page 22 of the solicitation states that "the VA Medical Centers do not have dictation equipment." And on page 86, the solicitation states that Offeror "equipment and software shall be compatible with Dictaphone Enterprise Express Dictation System." If the VAMCs do not have dictation equipment, there should not be a need for Offeror equipment to be compatible with Dictaphone Enterprise Express Dictation System (DEEDS). Will the government consider removing the requirement from the solicitation for Offeror equipment to be compatible with DEEDS? ANSWER: This was an oversight. There will not be any VA Equipment provided, therefore there is not be an equipment compatibility requirement, BUT, the successful offeror must be able to be compatible with VA's internal computer systems (VISTA, CPRS)
