- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to negotiate a succeeding lease with Silver Creek, LLC for approximately 5,996 rentable square feet of medical space located at 8989 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, California 92108; to be used by VA San Diego Healthcare System. The proposed Lease term is 5-year with one 5-year option period. Estimated occupancy date is August 1, 2009. In addition to the rental consideration; the Government may factor in tenant improvements and other related costs. To be eligible for award, the building must NOT be in the 100 years flood plane and MUST be of sound and substantial construction. The building must meet all current Federal, GSA, State, and local codes and regulations, including, but not limited to fire and life safety, accessibility, OSHA, and seismic protection. Note: The Government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for the space. Usable square feet do not include areas such as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules, public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. All interested parties should respond to this announcement no later than May 1, 2009; 2:00PM PST.
