- Amendment to pre-solicitationBidding material/drawings will be available on/about April 23, 2009 electronically.The Cincinnati VA Medical Center will be accepting sealed bids on or about May 15, 2009.The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, licenses and supervision for Project # 539-09-102. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing storm and sanitary piping and hangers, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the replacement of storm and sanitary piping located in the sub-basement level of Building #1. The construction and design is based on the work being completed in phases to limit disruption to building operations. Work requiring shutdowns shall be performed after hours and shall be coordinated with the Contacting Officers Technical Representative. The Contractor will provide, at their costs, all temporary piping and connections required to complete their work. Every effort has been made to identify existing conditions where piping is located; all piping is to be removed no matter what the actual conditions. THIS IS A SERVICE VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Work includes but is not limited to: furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace the sewer system Cincinnati Phase I as per the specifications and drawings. Estimated time of completion for the notice to proceed (NTP) is 240 calendar days for the base bid. All respondents must be registered in CCR data base, see http://ccr.gov and complete online Reps and Certs at http://orca.bpn.gov. All contractors must be registered in Vets-100 https://vets100.vets.dol.gov/; and in vetbiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov. Ensure your registration on each site is correct, current and has not expired. All questions must be submitted in writing by mail or fax (513-559-3730) on company letterhead, containing a point of contact, the solicitation number and phone and fax numbers and must be addressed to the contracting officer listed and must be received at the issuing office ten (10) or more days prior to bid opening. No e-mails or phone calls. No electronic bids will be accepted. Price range is $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. NAICS Code is 236220. Bidding material/drawings will be available on/about April 23, 2009 electronically Bidders are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments.
