- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFP FORCALIBRATION AND REPAIRS OF STEAM BOILER CONTROLS. Companies shall acknowledge allamendment(s) in their proposal. This notice serves as the official amendment to subjectsynopsis/RFP and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to move "Requirement III" from the Statement of Work toRepresentative Task Order (RTO) #1. "Requirement III" of the SOW is hereby moved from the SOW to RTO #1 and should be pricedout in RTO #1. "Requirement III" of the SOW states:This contract shall cover maintenance for hardware and software as listed in AttachmentC: HMI hardware and Wonderware software, and control network. a. Twovisits per year to maintain this hardware/software.b. Review and tune up PLC and Panelview performance, including inspection of physicalcondition and evaluation of alarm and error logs. Make small program changes asrequired.c. Inspect and clean work stations. Evaluate Windows log files, install patches,upgrades, and virus software as compatible with Wonderware. Perform housekeeping forcomputers, e.g. defragging, error resolution, performance evaluation and restoration.d. Review Wonderware performance logs and errors reported by operators or engineer. Makesmall program changes as required. Install patches and upgrade.e. Inspect Ethernet network hardware and performance, including error files, hardware. Repair as needed.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended and proposals are due by 5:00pmEastern Standard Time (EST) on April 17, 2009. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFP posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on March 16, 2009. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
