- This is a sources sought notice. This is NOT a request for proposal. The US Army Expeditionary Contracting Command Europe, Wiesbaden Contracting Center, is seeking potential firms who are interested in and have the capability to provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at Eemshaven, Netherlands. Services to include, but are not limited to the following requirements: 1) Access to a port terminal at Eemshaven, Netherlands that has sufficient quay length and draft for a ship with the following specifications (Hereby referred to as Primary Vessel) : Length, 512 Feet, Beam: 53 Feet, Draft: 30 Feet, Displacement: 34,604 tons; 2) Ability to load and discharge Ammunition Containers (CADS) to or from the Primary Vessel from land to quay or barge to quay; 3) Load and discharge CADS to or from primary vessel onto feeder vessels (lightering); 4) Ability to meet all Hazardous cargo and dangerous material standards in accordance with the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDGC) and applicable Host Nation Safety Standards. Responses must include the following: 1) Name and address of firm; 2) Company point of contact, telephone number and email address; 3) Brief summary of company history relative to similar requirements; 4) Number of years in business; Interested parties must submit information no later than 10 days from the date of this publication. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
