- The Great Plains Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for a vendor to provide Pre-Employment Physical Examinations for prospective federal employees of the Corpus Christi Army Depot in Corpus Christi, Texas. A non-personal services contract is contemplated. The base period of performance is on or before 1 June 2009 through 30 September 2009, plus four one-year option periods (through 30 September 2013). This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111, Offices of Physicians (Except Mental Health Specialists). The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 621111 is $10.0 million. Any healthcare practitioner that provides services under any contract resulting from the solicitation shall be required to possess and maintain an active, valid, and otherwise unrestricted medical license issued by the state of Texas. The provider(s) shall be credentialed through Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas if required. Vendors are required to be located within a 25-mile radius of the Corpus Christi Army Depot. The solicitation number is W81K00-09-T-0025. The solicitation will be available on/about 6 April 2009 at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm) and FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Prospective offerors are advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. Prospective offeror must also provide proof of malpractice insurance prior to commencing services. THE SOLICITATION CLOSES AT 12:00 PM CST (NOON) ON TUESDAY, 21 APRIL 2009. Award will be made on/about 25 April 2009. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored.
