- Description
- USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, #2 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA. The award will be made for the lease of hotel rooms and conference room space required for hosting the Louisiana Army National Guard Yellow Ribbon Event 10-12 July 2009. Requirement is for a non-casino hotel with 220 hotel rooms at the government per diem rate; 20 separate meeting rooms; a conference area capable of holding 425 personnel and food service for the two day event, 11-12 July 2009. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is the only known source that can satisfy the governments requirements on this date. All qualified sources must respond not later than 27 April 2009, 1100 hours CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
