- THIS AMENDENTMENT TO VA-247-09-RQ-0197 IS TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE TO 4/16/2009 AND TO CHANGE THE COMPETITIVENESS FROM SOLE SOURCE TO FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. This notice constitutes the only solicitation issued. STATEMENT OF WORK: Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA-247-09-RQ-0197 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). NAICS is 334510. The Department of Veterans Affairs Birmingham, AL, requires the following: four (4) Aestiva/5 7900 Anesthesia Machines for their facility.
