- PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA The work of this contract consists of replacing water system components in the park's headquarters pump house at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Porter, Indiana. Work shall include but may not be limited to: replacement of the fire pump and associated controls, replacement of system piping and supports, valves, backflow preventers, presure switches, gages, fire hose connections, replacement bladders for the expansion tanks, water meter, installation of stainless steel sinks and stairs, and painting and labeling of metal surfaces. Additional work may include replacement of the bag filter for iron removal and an additionall water meter as well as draining, cleaning, and inspecting a 40,000 gallon reservoir. All minor repairs to the reservoir interior (e.g. crack repairs, repainting ladder) shall be the responsibility of the contractporr. Major repairs will be priced based on time and materials.
