- This requirement is for contractor to provide all material, labor,and supervision to install new HVAC system at the VA Northern IndianaHealth Care System located at 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion, Indiana46953. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition, duct work,refrigerant piping, condensation piping, condensation pumps, electrical,steam connections, diffusers, exhaust fans. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION:This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority of FAR 16.14,Public Law 109-461 and the Veterans Benefits Healthcare and InformationTechnology Act of 2006 and is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-DisabledVeteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be small underthe relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS)code and MUST be registered and verified in the following websites:http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://ccr.gov, and http://orca.bpn.gov to beeligible for award. Bidders MUST ensure registration in these websitesare accurate and have not expired. Project magnitude is $25,000 -$100,000. The NAICS code is 238220. The solicitation documents will beposted at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 27, 2009. Disseminationof the specifications is limited to electronic medium. Drawings will beavailable electronically with the solicitation documents. Allinterested Bidders (primes & subcontractors) should register atwww.fedbizopps.gov so that others will know of your interest inparticipating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updatesor amendments. A Bidder's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nordistributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Biddersresponsibility to register at the Fedbizopps website. SOLICITATIONAMENMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted atwww.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendment will NOT beindividually mailed. By registering to "Receive Notification", you willbe notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued andposted. No other notification amendment will be provided. Bidders arereminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging allamendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offersas prescribed by FAR 52.214-3 Amendments to Invitation for Bids.Bidders should re-visit the Website periodically to look for updates.All requests for information are required to be in writing to theContracting Officer and shall be received within twelve days prior tobid opening; no telephone inquiries will be accepted.
