- Synopsis Solicitation Number AG-04R3-S-09-0005 Response Date: May 29, 2009 Solicitation Issue Date: April 29, 2009 Set-Aside: None – Full and Open NAICS: 238990 “All Other Specialty Trade Contractors”; $14.0 Million. REPAIR OR REMOVAL OF STRUCTURAL RANGE IMPROVEMENTS (INCLUDING FENCE CONSTRUCTION) ON THE MALHEUR, UMATILLA AND WALLOWA-WHITMAN NATIONAL FORESTS. This solicitation is for general projects associated with management of Rangeland Resources including but not limited to: Fence construction and maintenance, spring development installation and maintenance and stock pond cleaning. This solicitation will result in multiple-award, multiple year, indefinite-quantity contracts with minimum guarantees. Contractors may submit offers based on the entire solicitation or a specific work element. A number of contracts will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The actual number of awards will be dependent on offers received and the best value analysis process, but the intent is to have a sufficient number of awardees (approximately 9 as 3 contractors per forest) to provide a pool for competition of task orders. Typical Activities The work is general in nature and associated with, but not limited to; Fence Construction/Fence Repair/Fence Rollup: Buck and Pole Configuration, Five Wire Hi-Tensile Rock-Jack/Figure-Four/Steel-Post/Tree-Tie Configuration, Barbed Wire- Rock-Jack/Figure-Four/ Steel-Post/Tree-Tie Configuration, Let Down Fence Under Tension, and the High Tensile/Woven Wire Game Fence. Spring Developments: Stock trough installation and replacement Pond Cleaning: Stockpond cleaning and repair This work is performed in Southwest Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Eastern/Southeast Washington within the boundaries of the Malheur, Umatilla and Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Specific project locations will be specified on the Schedule of Items or in each Task Order issued. The contract period is from date of award (estimated at June 10, 2009) through 5 years.
