- Description
- This requirement is for contractor to provide all material, labor,and supervision to replace or install new concrete where specified atthe VA Northern Indiana Health Care System located at 1700 E. 38thStreet, Marion, Indiana 46953. Work includes, but is not limited todemolition of existing, removal of rubble, installing sub-grade,installing reinforcement bar, and finishing of concrete. Work also toinclude a number of steps and tuck pointing areas throughout thestation. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation will be issuedpursuant to the authority of FAR 16.14, Public Law 109-461 and theVeterans Benefits Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006 andis a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business(SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be small under the relevant North AmericanIndustrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and MUST be registeredand verified in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov,http://ccr.gov, and http://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award.Bidders MUST ensure registration in these websites are accurate and havenot expired. Project magnitude is $100,000 - $200,000. The NAICS codeis 238110. The solicitation documents will be posted atwww.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 27, 2009. Dissemination of thespecifications is limited to electronic medium. Drawings will beavailable electronically with the solicitation documents. Allinterested Bidders (primes & subcontractors) should register atwww.fedbizopps.gov so that others will know of your interest inparticipating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updatesor amendments. A Bidder's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nordistributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Biddersresponsibility to register at the Fedbizopps website. SOLICITATIONAMENMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted atwww.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendment will NOT beindividually mailed. By registering to "Receive Notification", you willbe notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued andposted. No other notification amendment will be provided. Bidders arereminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging allamendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offersas prescribed by FAR 52.214-3 Amendments to Invitation for Bids.Bidders should re-visit the Website periodically to look for updates.All requests for information are required to be in writing to theContracting Officer and shall be received within twelve days prior tobid opening; no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Award is subjectto the availability of funds.
