- Description
- The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to amend the original synopsis as published on 26 November 2008 to change the contact information and to add a release date for solicitation N00024-09-R-4402. NAVSEA intends to issue solicitation N00024-09-R-4402 for execution planning and accomplishment of CNO scheduled Non Dry-docking Availabilities for specific DDG 51 Class ships homeported and visiting the Norfolk, Virginia area. The requirements include execution planning, accomplishment of CNO scheduled availabilities, and continuous/emergent maintenance efforts. A cost type contract is contemplated. Offerors should take note that the winner of the contract resulting from this solicitation will not be eligible for award of the contract resulting from solicitation N00024-09-R-4401. Details of this exclusion will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted electronically under its solicitation number on or about 30 APRIL 2009 at the following we! bsites: http://www.fbo.gov and http://www.neco.navy.mil. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
