Description
This pre-solicitation notice amends the original synopsis as published on03 October 2008 to change the release date for solicitation N00024-09-R-4401.NAVSEA intends to issue solicitation N00024-09-R-4401 for execution planning andaccomplishment of CNO scheduled Non Dry-docking and Dry-docking Availabilitiesfor specific DDG 51 Class ships homeported and visiting the Norfolk, Virginiaarea. The requirements include execution planning, accomplishment of CNOscheduled availabilities, and continuous/emergent maintenance efforts. A costtype contract is contemplated. Offerors should take note that the winner of thecontract resulting from this solicitation will not be eligible for award of thecontract resulting from solicitation N00024-09-R-4402. Details of thisexclusion will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be postedelectronically under its solicitation number on or about 24 APRIL 2009 at thefollowing websites: http://www.fbo.gov and http:/! /www.neco.navy.mil. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal BusinessOpportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy ElectronicCommerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it isunderstood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses andsolicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO isunavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted bythe Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
