Description
Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, licenses,supervision, etc. necessary to 'Repair Fireproofing', Project SL-09-003,at the VA Medical Center - New York Campus, New York, New York, inaccordance with provided drawings and specifications. Work includes butnot limited to Placement of fire protection material in areas of missingor damaged fireproofing on all exposed I-Beam structural steel membersat the medical center. This construction project is Total set-aside forService-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The project costrange is between $25,000 - $100,000. The North American IndustryClassification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238190; sizestandard $14.0 M applies.The bidder is responsible to monitor anddownload any amendments from Fedbizops which may be issued to thissolicitation. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the VeteransBenefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. Pursuant to38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms.In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central ContractorRegistration and in accordance with FAR 2.101, VAAR 802.101, VetBizRegistration, prospective firms must be registered in Central ContractorRegistration (CCR) and in the VetBiz databases prior to award. Firms mayobtain CCR information at http://www.ccr.gov and VetBiz information athttp://vip.vetbiz.gov. The solicitation package and drawings should beavailable for download on or about April 29, 2009. No hard copies of thesolicitation or drawings will be provided; and telephone requests orquestions will NOT be accepted. A mandatory site visit will be scheduledand required for responsible sources to submit a bid which shall beconsidered by DVA. This procurement is subject to the availability offunds. Bids are due May 29, 2009, 2pm local time, at the VAMC, AnnexBuilding Conference Room, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010.
