Description

RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE PAVING IDIQ CONTRACT FA4608-04-D-0011(FUSSELL COMPANY, WINNSBORO, LA.) DETAILED DISCRIPTION This work will include the following: removal of concrete, excavation of base material, and replacement of 26 in. of concrete (451.4 SY-IN per slab) and 12 in. base course (17.4 SY per slab). Contractor shall provide 10 in dowel basket assemblies 15 in OC, 1 in dia X 24 in long (10 LF per slab); provide and install 5/8 in. backer rod (25 ft per slab), Dow Corning 888 joint sealant material (25 ft per slab) saw cut in reservoir concrete for installation of backer material & joint sealant, ½ in - 5/8 in W X 1 in - 1 5/8 in D (25 LF per slab), compact & test base course material (34.7 SY per slab); provide subgrade fill material, includes delivery & spreading (8.7 CY per slab);). general excavation, includes hauling, loading, disposing (8.7 CY per slab); and fibers shall be added to the concrete at 1.5 lbs per cubic yards of concrete (22.8 lbs per concrete slab).
