- PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ORNAMENTAL STEELFENCING AT DANVILLE NATIONAL CEMTERY LOCATED IN VERMILION COUNTY INDANVILLE, ILLIONIOIS. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National CemeteryAdministration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation NumberVA-786A-09-RA-0018 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, materials,tools and equipment necessary to install a new ornamental steel fencingat Danville National Cemetery in accordance with the project drawingsand specifications. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and$100,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 90 calendar daysfrom date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 236220 METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICECONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALLBUSINESS SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis underFederal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible servicedisabled veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting ofthe Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessedONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requestswill be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released forissue on April 29, 2009.
