Description
Special Project Specs Schedule of Items AG-03R6-S-09-0056 SF30 AG-03R6-S-09-0056 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (supply) prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-03R6-S-09-0056 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 212321and small business size standard of 500 employees The requirement: One line item: 3240 c. y of crushed aggregate for road surfacing which meet Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges of Federal Highway Projects (FP-03 section 703.05(c)) which are attached. The gravel shall meet the gradiaion in Table 703-3 TARGET VALUE RANGES for SURFACE COARSE GRADIATION & PLASTICITY INDEX. Quote shall include unit pricing and extended total for the line item. Government will pick up material at Contractor’s pit. Contractor shall provide all material and effort/cost to crush material to specifications, and the machinery to load material into Government truck. The gravel is needed by May 1, 2009 for surfacing of Burnt Fork Road east of Stevensville, Montana. Exact dates and timing for loading trucks at Vendor’s pit will be negotiated, based on overall project progress. One award will be made. The following FAR provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, (JUNE 2008) applies to this acquisition. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (JAN 1999) applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price and other factors. Other factors include ability to provide items in accordance with specifications within requested timeframe, and past performance. Price is equally as important as other factors. Quoters must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items, (FEB 2009) with its offer.
