- This contract consists of constructing 9980 LF of 4 wire (barbed) fence to include steel posts, line posts, deadmans where appropriate, line braces, corner braces and barbed wire gates. The contract includes constructing brace panels at stock tank locations. The contract also consists of clearing trees, brush, and downfall of approx. 3400 feet. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials equipment tools, transportiaon and supplies necessary to complete the work. The project is located on the Ashland Ranger District, Custer National Forest. Estimated start date of project is Spring 2009. Government estimate is between $25,000 - $100,000. Solicitation issuance date on or about April 22, 2009. Solicitation will be posted electronically.
