- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for specified Government- furnished property, to construct five livestock wells. Work will consist of the following items:1) Mobilization, 1 lump sum2) Drilling Well Hole, 1090 Linear Foot3) Install 8 inch steel Surface Casing, 6 each4) Install 4 1/2 inch PVC Casing, 1090 Linear Foot5) Gravel Pack Material (50#bag), 70 each6) Medium Chip Bentonite (50#bag) 48 each7) Stand by Time, 10 hours8) Well Development and Testing, 10 hours9) Well Abandonment, 5 hoursQuantities are estimated for Items 2-9. The period of performance is 40 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about July 10, 2009. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. This is set aside for Small Business concerns. The small businss size standard is $33.5 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000.00. Payment protection will be due upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative Site Tour is scheduled for May 13, 2009 at 9:00 AM. More information on the site tour will be posted in the Solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on/about April 29, 2009. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/". Response date for quotes will be on/about May 29, 2009. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award.
