- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to: Remove existing front and rear range towers in their entirety, drill caissons for new front and rear range towers, place concrete and rebar, fabricate and erect steel towers for front and rear range structures, place riprap and other work required for demolition of existing front and rear range towers and erection of new range towers. The rear range tower is located within the boundaries of the Eagle Point Refinery. The contractor shall arrange all access permission and provide all background checks, training and testing as required by the Eagle Point Refinery. The contractor is responsible for conforming to all access, safety and other requirements of the Eagle Point Refinery as a part of this contract. Electrical power, water and sanitary facilities are not available at the site. The contractor is responsible for providing work platform, electrical power, and sanitary facilities necessary. Incidental work items not listed above and necessary for completing the project shall be included. The NAICS for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5M. Vendors interested in performing this project are invited to provide the following information to U. S. Coast Guard CEU Cleveland (Attn: Ms. Melton) no later than COB 04/22/09. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at carolyn.m.melton@uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Responses shall include the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email Address, Business Size (Disadvantaged Status, 8(a) status and/or HUBZone status). NO TELEPHONE, WRITTEN NOTIFICATIONS OR REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS will be honored. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes ONLY WHICH SERVES AS MARKET RESEARCH and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government Reserves the right to consider a Small Business, 8(a), or any other set-aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
