- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office (YAO), Yuma Desalting Plant, Yuma, Arizona, 85364, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Desert Eagle Intelligence, Inc., 1858 Paseo San Luis Ste H, Sierra Vista AZ 85635-2618 for armed guard services at theYAO. Competition is restricted to only one source per FAR 6.302-1 due to the contractor's intimate knowledge of the YAO facility and immediate access to licensed guards in the local area. Services required include: hourly evening and weekend patrols of the YAO, monitoring of security camera feeds, reporting of unusual activity, potential 24-hour security services in the event of emergencies. This procurement will be awarded using FAR Part 13 simplified acquisition procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12 commercial item acquisition procedures with an intended service period of one month and two one-month option periods. Anticipated award date is April 24, 2009. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
