- This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to provide 30 Sencore signal analyzers (Part Number: SLM 1475) to DMA Anacostia and DMAA Fleet Support Detachment in support of their mission of providing Shipboard Information, Training and Entertainment (SITE) systems to all US Navy ships. The applicable NAICS is 334515 with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation and all attachments will be electronically issued and may be accessed for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fbo.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of all interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments that may occur during the solicitation process. The anticipated date of issuance of solicitation is on or about 17 Apr 2009 with a closing date on or about 28 Apr 2009. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package nor planholder list. Fax, telephone, written or email requests for the solicitation package and planholder will not be honored. All questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing 2 calendar days prior to the RFP closing date. The solicitation and all accompanying amendments and/or other documents will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website. Hard copies of the soliciation document will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most current information about this acquisition. NOTE: The solicitation issuance date is an estimate, not an actual, and the actual can be before or after the stated date. The response date cited above does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government reserves the right to cancel this procurement/ solicitation either before or after the RFP closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. For registration, go to www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31 effective 19 March 2009 and DFARS Change Notice 20080812. NOTE: The solicitation number will be changed from HQ0028-09-R-0020 to HQ0028-09-R-0023.
