Description
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) currently leases 43,892 rentable square feet of office and related space with 1 parking space in San Francisco, CA. The lease expires October 31, 2009. SEC will consider alternative space if economically advantageous, otherwise, the SEC intends to pursue a sole source acquisition for a ten (10) year succeeding lease with the current location. SEC seeks the right to terminate the lease after 7 years of occupancy. SEC will consider relocation costs of furniture and telecommunications, replication of existing tenant improvements, and other factors when deciding whether or not to relocate. Alternate buildings must be located within the following delineated area: North - Washington Street from the Embarcadero to Kearney Street. South - Mission Street from Third Street to the Embarcadero East - the Embarcadero from Mission Street to Washington Street West - Kearney Street and Third Street The space should yield approximately 39,700 to 40,000 BOMA usable square feet. The proposed lease should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than November 1, 2009. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire, Life and Seismic Safety and Handicapped Accessibility.
