Description
NAICS Code: 335999 NAICS Code: 335999The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Environmental Information (OEI) Office of Technology Operations and Planning (OTOP) require a contractor to provide relocation and installation services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at two (2) Headquarters/District of Columbia locations. The contractor shall perform the following tasks: Relocation of an existing UPS system and its corresponding peripherals; Installation of a new Mitsubishi 2033G 30KVA UPS system (including its purchase); and Disposal of uninstalled components. Please refer to the Statement of Work (SOW) for a complete description of the project and its tasks. Before and after floorplans of the project's locations are available from the Contract Specialist upon request only. Site visits may be scheduled through the Contract Specialist for the following dates: April 14,15,16, 21, and 22nd upon request only. Licensed electrical contractors only, knowledgeable in the installation and maintenance of Mitsubishi UPS systems, are requested to respond. Proof of license may be requested by the Contract Specialist. Interested parties shall respond via email to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Sini Jacob, at jacob.sini@epa.gov no later than 5:00PM Friday, April 24, 2009. Responses shall include a technical proposal demonstrating the contractor's understanding and ability to complete the tasks in this SOW, a Fixed Price cost proposal (inclusive of new equipment line items), and at least 2 references of past performance of similar scope. Submission shall not exceed 10 pages in its entirety. The U.S. EPA intends to award a firm, fixed price Purchase Order to the contractor that offers the Best Value. Contractors shall be evaluated on technical response, price, and past performance.
