- (i) This is a special notice for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Information Technology Contracting Division, DISA Services Section (PL8311), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order IAW FAR Part 6.302-1 to Audio Visual Services, Inc., D/B/A PSAV, Anaheim Convention Center, 777 Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802 for the purchase of the following CLINs: (ii) CLIN 0001: Audio Visual Labor; CLIN 0002: Audio Visual Equipment Rental; CLIN 0003: Travel & Other direct cost (ODC); ( iii) DISA intends to award a sole source purchase order to PSAV. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1); Only one responsible source will satisfy the agency's needs. To maintain continuity and reduce duplication of effort, DISA will utilize the vendor currently working with their coordinator and conference partner for the 2009 DISA Customer Partnership Conference. (iv) Authorized resellers who can provide the above listed requirement must submit a capability statement within 2 business days of this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable. (v) The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-30. (vi) The NAICS code is 532490, the size standard is $6.5M. (vii) N/A (viii) Location is Anaheim Convention Center, 777 convention Way, Anaheim CA 92802; Period of performance is 14 April 2009 through 30 April 2009. (viiii) FAR 52.246-1 applies to this acquisition. (ix) The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.204-9000, 52.204-9001, 52.209-9000, 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 DEV, 52.222-41,52.232-36, 52.232-9000, 52.243-1, 52.247-34, 52.209-9000, 52.222-48, 52.252-2, 52.252-6.(xi) The following DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition: 252.204-7000, 252.204-7003, 252.204-7004, 252.211-7003, 252.212-7001, 252.232-7003, 252.243-7001, 252.246-7000, (access to clauses can be made via http://FARSITE.HILL.AF.MIL). Section 508 Accessibility Standards apply. (xvi) A letter of interest received will be evaluated for competency (xiii) A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Office.
