Description
HUD Philadelphia Contracting Operations Branch intends to procure professional services, including both full-time and part-time staff, to operate, maintain, and update HUD’s Broadcast Operations Center located within HUD Headquarters in Washington, DC. The applicable NAICS code is 512110, with a size standard of $29.5 million. This acquisition shall be competed among eligible 8(a) concerns only. Offerors that are not certified 8(a) business concerns through the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program are ineligible for award and therefore will not be considered for this procurement. Contractors must also be registered in the (CCR) Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award of a Federal contract. Registration information can be found at the CCR website at www.ccr.gov, or by calling (888) 227-2423. Competitive 8(a) proposals will be evaluated based on both price and technical factors, with the successful offeror representing the best value to the government, all factors considered. The specific evaluation criteria for this procurement shall be explained in detail in the solicitation package. The proposed contract award will be a firm fixed-price contract consisting of a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods. The complete solicitation, which will contain a full description of the services required as well as a detailed explanation of how to prepare and submit a proposal for these services, will be made available for download on or after April 30, 2009, on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, which is where this notice was published. All interested parties must download the solicitation from the FBO website; telephone or fax requests will not be accepted. Any amendments, if issued, will be available for download on the FBO website. Potential offerors who download the solicitation will not automatically receive any amendments; you are therefore advised to check the FBO website frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to this solicitation. Contract History: These services are currently performed under contract C-OPC-22355, which expires on September 29, 2009. C-OPC-22355 consists of a base year and four one-year option periods. The total value of C-OPC-22355, including all option periods, is approximately $8 million. The incumbent is Innovative Technologies, Incorporated, 4114 Pleasant Valley Road, Suite 800, Chantilly, Virginia, 20151.
