- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources to operate a D.C. Charter School (K-5) on Bolling AFB as a satellite location. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued for informational and planning purposes only. It is not to be misconstrued as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any action be made as a result of this RFI. Bolling AFB will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. All written documentation shall include the following experience and management/technical approach: (1) Three to five years experience in operating a D.C. Charter School (2) Demonstrated success in raising student achievements (3) Copy of current school (K-5) curriculum (4) Regional Accreditation. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this market research, Bolling AFB may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Prior to issuing a solicitation, a pre-solicitation notice will be published. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information. All documents submitted will not be returned. The documents will be used to determine what vendors have interest in the proposed Charter School satellite location. If your school is interested, you must submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement described above to Ms. Valerie Gaines via email at Valerie.Gaines@afncr.af.mil, or fax to (202) 767-7887; or by mail at the following address: 11th Contracting Squadron, 20 MacDill Blvd, Suite 400, Bolling AFB, DC 20032-0101. The Capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing your school and should also demonstrate the ability to support a satellite location. Additionally, it should include the school name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, e-mail address. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. All responses are due by 12 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, May 4. 2009.
