- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercialitem/services for KSC Institutional Support Services. This potential contract willrequire contractor support in various areas such as clerical support, financialmanagement support, personnel program activity, employee development, employee benefits,personnel action processing, business systems support, and records management.This pre-solicitation synopsis is NOT for the prior acquisition previously awarded in2008 to REDE/Critique Joint Venture under contract NNK08OP06B. It is for a separate standalone contract. NASA/KSC intends to issue a single award Indefinite-DeliveryIndefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum value of $31.5M and a three yearperiod of performance.The period of performance will include a thirteen month baseperiod and two one year options.This procurement is a total small business set-aside and is being offered for competitionlimited to eligible Hub-Zone concerns. Offerors are solicited only from small businessconcerns expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participationin the SBA's Hub-Zone Program.See Note 1.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561110 and $7 Million respectively.The anticipated release date of the RFP NNK09287472R is on or about 04/27/09 with ananticipated proposal due date of on or about 05/28/09.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application.
