Description
The Government has a requirement for Sense through the Wall (STTW) systems. The STTW system will provide the capability to detect, locate, and sense personnel behind walls, doors and other visible obstructions from a standoff distance. This requirement will be competed on a full and open basis with the anticipation of making two (2) awards. The Governments award decision will be made on a best value basis. The contracts will be firm fixed price, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) for STTW systems, associated spares, and support. The contracts will be for one base period of 12 months for production qualification with a 48 month production period. It is anticipated the contracts will have a minimum of 18 tests articles for production qualification and a maximum value of $190,000,000.00. The Government anticipates posting the official Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 30 April 2009 on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website located at the following address: https//:acquisition.army.mil. The online version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Draft copies of the specifications for the STTW, Statement of Work, as well as Sections L and M will be posted by 17 April 2009 for informational purposes on the ASFI website under W91CRB09STTW.
