- Description
- The Bureau of Public Debt (BPD), on behalf of the United States Federal Maritime Commission, intends to award a sole source award to ComPair Data, Inc. for user license and access to ComPairData.com and AmericanShipper.com. The services provide continuously updated global, comprehensive databases of liner schedules, covering 86 trade lanes, with vessel rotation data plus transit times, and are audited quarterly. BPD will consider all affirmative responses received at PSB2@bpd.treas.gov no later than the close of business on Friday, April 10, 2009. A request for more information is not considered an affirmative response. If no response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the government, a sole source award will be made to ComPair Data, Inc. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that the response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice.
