- DRAFT FEDBIZOPPS ANNOUNCEMENTDRUG ELUTING CORONARY STENTS VA-528-09-RP-0115 The VA Western New York Healthcare System is soliciting bids to provide balloon expandable, Drug Eluting coronary stent system, pre-mounted on a rapid-exchange delivery system. Need is for the complete spectrum of stents ranging from 16mm to 32mm or nearest equals in length and 2.5mm to 3.5mm in diameter. Anticipated period of performance is base year, date of award through May 1, 2010, plus four (4) one year options at the discretion of the Government. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates multiple awards of a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity consignment contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The preferred method of payment will be Government Purchase Card (VISA) and the contractor must be capable of accepting it for payment. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339113 is 500 employees. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
