- This acquisition is for various Spare Parts for the Lightweight High-Gain X Band Antenna (LHGXA) and Large Aperture Multi-Band Antenna (LAMDA) Systems, to include Engineering Support Services for Depot-Level Repair, Part of the AS-4429C/TSC and AS-4429D/TSC. Delivery will be to New Cumberland Army Depot. No drawings are available. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase these items and services from other then the current source. The Government intends to enter into sole source negotiations with the actual manufacturer of the LHGXA and LAMDA Systems, Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida. Procurement price history for the spare parts to be purchased will be made available in Section L of the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on the Army's Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) at http//abop.monmouth.army.mil). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be evaluated by the agency. Suppliers capable of furnishing the items and required repair services must include with their proposal detailed technical data such as engineering drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures and test results, copies of purchasing orders for the supplies, a statement from a listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the LHGXA and LAMDA Systems and existing components/spares of the LHGXA and LAMDA Systems and provide documentation that shows the ability to obtain required material in order to repair any of the items to their original state and functionality with other parts and the Systems. Suppliers who can meet all the requirements may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army and that the items will be delivered on time or repaired on time. Suppliers may be requested to submit other pertinent data or submit physical units for evaluation during the evaluation phase.
