- ITEM DESCRIPTION: Retainer, Oil Seal NSN: 5330-01-216-1396 SOLICITATION PERIOD: 14 days ISSUE DATE: April 17, 2009 CLOSING DATE: May 1, 2009 QUANTITY 900 EA SPECIFICATION: This is a United States Air Force Identified Critical Safety Item (CSI). The requirements of CSI will be strictly adhered to. In addition, Government First Article Testing (FAT) is required. General Electric Company (07482) P/N 9999M71P02, Acceptable Sources: Enginetics Corp., (60168) and Preci-Manufacturing Inc., DESTINATION: Defense Distribution Depots Tracy, CA and New Cumberland, PA. DELIVERY: 240 days (including time for processing FAT) ACQUISITION NOTES: Small Business Set-Aside. This acquisition will contain a quantity option provision that will allow the Government to purchase additional units in an amount up to 50% of the base quantity should conditions warrant. NO DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE. It is the Government’s intention to use simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 to award a firm fixed-price contract.
