- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT899076A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32, Defense DCN 20090115, and AFAC 2009-0318. This acquisition will be 100% total small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335929. The business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6145. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3357. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for the following line items: 0001: Wire, 750-KCMIL, THWN-2, BLK, Stranded, CU. Qty: 600 FT 0002: Wire, 750-KCMIL, THWN-2, BLK, Stranded, CU. Qty: 600 FT 0003: Motor Starter, Size 2, NEMA ICS-2, Class A. NEMA 12 Enclosure, 3P, 600 VAC, 25 horespower rating, 120 VAC control, Padlockable operating handle. Qty: 2 Each 0004: Rope, pulling, 7/8", Greenlee Cat/UPC # 34136. Qty: 300 FT Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. Please include shipping and handling in your order. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
