Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Government intends to procure on a sole source basis from Laser Techniques Company, 6742 185th Avenue NE Suite 300, Redmond, WA, the following Laser Mapping System: LP-4000 Field-Grade Data Acquisition System, Custom Bore Mapping Sensor Assembly; portable sensor delivery unit, anti-twist umbilical cable; calibration ring fixture; calibration ring set, two hard-sided shipping cases; straightness mapping sensor; system integration and testing, operating manuals. In addition, there will be an option for training at the vendor site and set up and training at the government site,. It has been determined that this is the only equipment that is compatible to the existing equipment and meets all technical capability requirements. The anticipated issue date for solicitation N00178-09-R-1035 is 21 April 2009, with an anticipated award of 15 May 2009. The NAICS code is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. The government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis or to make partial awards to fulfill the needs of the government. The award will be in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The award shall be firm fixed price. FOB Destination shall apply. Point of Contact: Constance M.
