- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure from Guy Brothers Marine, on a sole source basis: Item 0001: maintenance and repair services for the Evinrude motors that are installed on the test range boats. This will be a three (3) year procurement. In order to maintain the warranty on these motors, the services must be provided by an Evinrude certified vendor. Guy Brothers Marine is the only vendor that holds the requisite certification and can meet the Government's requi! red response time of one hour or less. This response time is crucial to the Government, as it ensures that most mechanical malfunctions will not cause testing delays and a loss of man-hours and dollars to the Government. The items required are sole sourced to Guy Brothers Marine; no other items are acceptable. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date is 2:00PM ET on 16 April 2009. The anticipated award date is 23 April 2009. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
