- Description
- The contractor is to provide materials and labor for space alterations for Veterans Affairs located Neal Smith Federal Building, 210 Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa. The work will include the moving/lifting of systems furniture and file cabinets to install government furnished carpet. There will also be some painting and installation of base along with electrical work. The renovations will be completed in phases. Areas of work will be vacant at the time of construction. Work will be accomplished during other than normal business hours. The contractor is to provide all materials not previously mentioned, labor, equipment, tools, management and supervision as required and needed for the completion of this project. The contract will have 60 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Estimated cost is $25,000 to $50,000. The contractor will be required to obtain a GSA security clearance for all individuals working on site. If you are interested in bidding this project respond by email no LATER THAN April 24, 2009, to kathy.routson@gsa.gov with your company name, contact person, address, phone number, fax number and DUNS number. You MUST state the Solicitation number of GS-06P-09-TN-C-0025. Proposal packages will be mailed to interested parties after that date and will be sent on a disc unless a hard copy is requested. There will be a walk through of the project scheduled. The date will be noted in your proposal packet. All proposals submitted must allow 60 days for GSA acceptance. THIS REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE AN AWARD. According to FAR 4.11 ALL contractors MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration [CCR], www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certification [ORCA], https://orca.bpn.gov, before having their bid evaluated.
